Who's Listening?

A Triolet is a poetic form consisting of only 8 lines.  Within a Triolet, the 1st, 4th, and  7th lines
repeat, and the 2nd and 8th lines do as well.  The rhyme scheme is simple:  ABaAabAB, capital
letters representing the repeated lines.

Today I was intrigued by some poems written in this style by a couple of poets in the poetry community I belong to. I was inspired to try one myself.

Be careful of the words you speak
You never know who’s listening
Your words may be very tres chic
Be careful of the words you speak
Truthful words are gentle critique
But harsh words could be blistering
Be careful of the words you speak
You never know who’s listening
